Barber shop robbed

The Twin City Barber Shop on Plaza Street was the latest scene of yet another daring daylight hold-up Tuesday afternoon.
A lone black gunman entered the business between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money from barber Ricky Tinsley. The robber told the barber to lie on the floor. At the time of the robbery there were two customers in the shop. No one was injured during the course of the robbery.
The suspect was described as being a black male between 6’1” and 6”2,” with a medium to dark complexion and wearing dark clothing.
Criminal Investigation Detective Michael B. Thomas is investigating the robbery.
