Pair face theft charges

Two Helena-West Helena men, one, 23 and the other 25 are being held in the Phillips County jail on theft and robbery charges.
Deandre Burrell, 23, of 426 Alice St., has been charged with theft of property, after he allegedly stole the tires and rims off a Ford Explorer from a residence in the 900 block of Miller Street on Monday, Aug. 16.
Burrell ‘s bond was set at $10,000.
James Boyd, 25, who resides on Arkansas Street, has been charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property.
Boyd allegedly robbed an elderly woman at her home on August 8.
Boyd’s bond was set at $500,000.
Helena Police reported that most of the stolen property had been recovered.
