Helena-West Helena Police Criminal Investigation Division had a first for their department when they confiscated 10 pounds of marijuana, which had been shipped to a vacant house in Helena.
 Police received a phone call from U.S. Postal inspectors that a suspicious package would be arriving at the Helena Post office.
Police discovered that the package was addressed to an alias or unknown person and was actually being shipped or mailed to an unoccupied address in Helena.
According to Detective Sgt. Roy Covington they set up a sting through their office working with postal inspectors. They were unable to apprehend the perpetrator.
Covington said that the package was mailed from an unknown address and person living in Laredo, Texas.
The marijuana is valued at approximately $25,000.
