Several Helena-West Helena men face drug-related charges following their arrest this past weekend by police.
Demarcus Britton, 21, was arrested Sunday morning and charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana with intent to deliver. Britton was stopped by police officers for a speeding violation and officers allegedly discovered marijuana in Britton’s possession.
Britton is being held in the county jail. At this time no bond has been set.
Terry Johnson, 46, of 132 Ann St. was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance marijuana with intent to deliver.
Police went to a residence in the 900 block of West Russell Street to check on a suspicious person in the neighborhood.
When policed arrived at the scene they allegedly discovered that Johnson had marijuana on him. At this time, Johnson is being held in the county jail. No bond has been set.
Anthony Suggs, 25, was arrested on Friday Feb. 6 at 532 Porter St. when police were called to a domestic disturbance.
As a result Suggs was charged with resisting arrest, domestic battery in the third degree, obstructing governmental operations, disorderly conduct, failure to appear in court, terroristic threatening in the third degree and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Suggs is being held in the county jail and no bond has been set at this time.
Michael McBrock, 37, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamines.
He was arrested Sunday morning at a police checkpoint. The drugs were allegedly found on him at the time of his arrest.
