P.C. man found dead in his home at Southland

A Phillips County man was found dead at his home on Southland Road just after 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
The lifeless body of Timothy Dollahite, 36, of the Southland Community was reportedly discovered by his fiancée.
Deputy Phillips County Coroner Eugene Handley pronounced Dollahite dead at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday. Handley said he died of an apparent gunshot wound.
Handley said the Phillips County Sheriff’s Department who is investigating the shooting called him to the residence.
His body was sent to the state crime lab in Little Rock for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
