Donte Carter, 25, of Helena was arrested at the apartments in the 900 block of York Street. Carter was the suspect involved in a shooting in the Mapco parking lot on Sept. 10. Bond is set at $100,000. He is currently being held at the Phillips County Jail.
Chief Uless Wallace reported Wednesday that on Friday Sept. 23 at approximately 2 a.m. Helena-West Helena Police Department officers recovered the weapon possibly involved in the Jerry Henry homicide. The recovered weapon was an assault rifle SKS 7.62.
