Sponsor a Tree and become part of this Community Holiday Tradition

Mississippi River State Park would like to invite community businesses, civic organizations, families and others to sponsor and decorate a Christmas tree to be showcased along the walkways of Mississippi River State Park Visitor Center.

Last December the park had over 45 themed trees sponsored. Several hundred visitors came to the park during the month of December to visit the Center and view the trees. The park, along with the Marianna Regional Chamber of Commerce, hosted a Christmas Open House and had cookie decorating stations, a Santa Clause photo-op, and other activities for adults and children alike.

The park will be selling sponsorships through December 1st. Seven to eight foot trees will be available to sponsor for $70 plus tax. “Charlie Brown” trees will be available to sponsor for $35 plus tax. Each tree sponsor will receive a “Sponsored By” sign to be placed in front of their tree. Trees are first come first serve, and sponsors will be able to pick their tree location based on availability.

Mississippi River State Park is also offering the following services for sponsors, if they so choose: electricity for lights is available for an additional $25. Decorating services are also offered – it is an additional $30 if you provide the decorations for us to decorate for you. For $65, we will purchase decorations and decorate your tree – all you have to do is come out and enjoy it during Open House.

Stop by the Mississippi River State Park Visitor Center (located just four miles southeast of Marianna on Arkansas Hwy 44) or call 870-295-4040 and press option 2, to reserve your tree.  The park will stop taking orders after December 1st, 2018. Sponsoring a tree is a great way to support your local State Park and bring awareness to your organization!
