Katie Joyce Hall, 85, of Marvell AR, died Monday, May 28th, 2018.
Katie Joyce Hall was born February 23, 1933 to Victor Hugo Brown and Mamie Tyner Brown in Turner, Arkansas.
She was a graduate of Marvell High School, where she was known for being an accomplished basketball player. She moved to Russellville Arkansas and retired after working at the Russellville Country Club as the bookkeeper. In her spare time, she enjoyed antique shopping, quilting, gardening and playing cards with family and friends. She was known to most as Joyce but was most proud of being called “Mamaw” by her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alton Hall, daughter, Patti Kay Puckett, son, Steven Orville Puckett, brothers, Irwin Keith Brown, Victor Leon Brown, sister in law, Amelia Miller Brown and brother in law, Gerald Catlett.
Left to cherish her memory are sisters; Peggy Brown Catlett, Patsy Brown Stingley (Ted), Molly Kay Brown Wooten (Clarence), sons; Ted Puckett (Elaine), Randy Hall (Kammy), daughter in law; Dee Puckett, grandchildren; Andy Puckett, Chelsea Puckett Albrecht, Meredith Puckett, Erica Puckett, Ashley Hall Shewmake, Lyndsey Hall Freyer and 6 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held for family and friends at the Marvell Eventide Cemetery on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:00 a .m.
