Helena-West Helena, Arkansas-There will be a public event starting at 5:30PM on April 18th at Southbound Tavern at the corner of Cherry & Elm in downtown Helena, Arkansas to celebrate the completion of the plant expansion at the Envirotech facility at Helena Harbor. Envirotech makes biodegradable liquid disinfectants for the food and water industries.
Envirotech opened its facility at Helena Harbor in early 2015 and the addition of warehouse and package space is just the latest addition to its growth. Helena Harbor is a 4,000 acre industrial park and slack-water harbor located on the Mississippi River south of Helena, Arkansas, just over an hour from Memphis, Tennessee.
John C. Edwards, General Counsel & Economic Development Director for Helena Harbor & Phillips County Economic Development, stated this “is a come as you are” event to celebrate the good news of economic growth in Phillips County. Edwards noted Mr. Phil Harvey of Envirotech will be on hand to offer remarks. The event is open to the public and light refreshments will be served. RSVPs are welcome by calling the Helena Harbor office at 338-6444 and letting the operator know you will be coming to the event.
