Helena-West Helena, Arkansas-Governor Asa Hutchinson will be an honored guest at a ribbon cutting at the advanced manufacturing lab in the Technical and Industrial Building on April 10 at 5:15 p.m. at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA). PCCUA is a nationally-recognized member of the Arkansas Delta Training and Education Consortium (ADTEC).  Consortium members along with PCCUA include Arkansas State University Mid-South (lead college), Arkansas Northeastern College, Arkansas State University-Newport, and Eastern Arkansas Community College. This consortium was created in eastern Arkansas to use their collective resources to address current and future training needs.

The ADTEC advanced manufacturing lab is a training center in the areas of manufacturing, transportation, HVAC, and multi-industry skills.  Local manufacturers such a Doughboy, NORAC, Amerimax, and BPS are a few of the Phillips County manufacturing partners supporting the training lab.

One ADTEC focus is Arkansas Delta Accelerating Pathways Together (ADAPT), which is designed to strengthen industry and transportation workforce training pathways.
