Ray Basinger, 64, of White Hall passed away April 4, 2018.

Born February 18, 1954, in Barstow, California, he was the son of the late George Basinger and Edith Carpenter Basinger.

Ray was reared and received his early education in Charleston, Arkansas before moving to White Hall, where he graduated in 1972, before going on to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.

He was a member of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.

Ray worked as a water plant operator for the Pine Bluff Arsenal for 33 years until his retirement in 2011.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pquieta Basinger; one daughter, Sonia Wallace (Tony); one son, Jeff Wilkins; three grandchildren, Zachrey Wallace, Michael Wallace, and Kirsten Wallace.

Services will be 2:00 Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son. Visitation will begin one-hour prior.

Interment will follow at Flat Bayou Cemetery in Altheimer.

Fordyce-Reverend James Earl Highsmith, 63, of Fordyce, AR passed Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was born in Camden, Arkansas to the late Earnell Highsmith, Sr. and Berneice Neal Highsmith.

Cherishing his legacy and loving memories are: his devoted wife of 41 years, Cheryle; Children- Kelcey Terrell (Deniese) Highsmith, Sr. Bearden, Krissy LaShun (Brandon) Harris, Pine Bluff, Korey James Highsmith (Dorcas) Little Rock, and Kadran Nichelle Highsmith, Mobile, Alabama and Dorian Harper, Aurora, Colorado; 10 grandchildren, four siblings.

Home-Going Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018 at F.O. Jones Christian Center- Bearden, AR by Reverend Kelcey Highsmith, Sr. Interment will be in New White Springs Cemetery in White Spring, AR by Brown-Williams Funeral Home of Fordyce, AR.

Visitation will be Friday, 4-6 p.m., at Potter's House Cathedral Church in Fordyce.

His body will lie in-state 9:15 a.m., until service.
