Kiwanis Club of Van Buren has 11 golf teams signed up for its 13th annual K-Kids and the Community Golf Classic Friday, April 6, at Eagle Crest Country Club.
They are Lumber One, Continental Poultry, Kelton Inge, Arvest Bank, Citizens Bank & Trust, SPMI, Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, Payton Marshall, First Western Bank, Rick Patterson and Community Bible Church.
Lumber One and Elite Roofing will be the presenting sponsor for the event which is a fundraiser for the club’s projects for K-Kids, a service organization for elementary students sponsored by Kiwanis International.
Entry fee is $340 for a four-man team, according to Daniel Skipper, Kiwanis Club president. If paid by March 30, the fee will be $300, Skipper said. The entry fee includes carts, green fees and lunch.
Lunch will be served at noon. The tournament will tee-off at 1 p.m.
