Arthur Louis Turner Sr., was born to the Louiscine Turner  and Mary L. Bryant on Aug. 22, 1943. He was the youngest of four siblings, Bo ,Pete, Kitten and Shirley Quinn, who all preceded him in death.

Arthur gave his life to God at an early age at Pleasant Joy Missionary Baptist Church. He scurried his way through high school and graduated. His passion was to drive big trucks, so after high school he went to work with his relatives on Larry's Farm.

He also was a big truck driver for Sonny Stephens where he drove for over 50 years without having a single accident.

Arthur later retired, but he pushed and pushed until he was unable to push any more. Many knew him as "White Lighting" if you ever got a chance to meet him it was never a dull moment. Arthur was never married, but yet had a very special friend who cared for him tremendously.

Arthur leave to cherish his memory, a son Arthur Turner, Sr., of Mississippi; two daughters, Sondra Turner and Marvella Starks, both of Little Rock; and a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Services were entrusted to Stephens Funeral Home.
