The "Tree of Lights" was recently lit on the grounds of Helena Regional Medical Center, serving to honor and memorialize friends and loved ones. The children's choir from Pettis Memorial Church entertained the crowd and Santa got an earful from the children about wishes for Christmas. Longtime auxiliary member Charlotte Roberson had the honor of flipping the switch to light the tree. The event is a fund-raiser for the hospital auxiliary which was established in 1981. Funds raised are given back to the community through service to the patients at HRMC, such as providing TVs in the waiting rooms and hats for newborns. Cards can be purchased for $1 in the gift shop at HRMC.
