It was a joyous occasion when 28 individuals became naturalized U.S. citizens during a ceremony in the U.S. District Courtroom in Helena on Nov. 17. The Honorable Brian Miller, Chief U.S. District Judge of the Eastern District of Arkansas, presided over the ceremony in front of a packed courtroom, including students from four local schools. The new citizens heard remarks from Dr. P. Vaudevillian and from Judge Miller after being formally introduced and presented with their naturalization certificates.
