Eula Mae Parham Chandler, 101, of Lexa, fell asleep in death on Nov.14, 2017 at her home.

Mother Eula Mae was born March 19, 1916 to Joe Nicholson and Roberta Mc Caleb in Scooba, Mississippi. She confessed a hope in Christ in 1926. She moved to Rondo in 1948 and was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist church of Lexa. In February 1936 she married Jessie  Parham. To this union 10 children were born. She married . Fred Chandler in 1977. 

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jessie Parham, sons, U.V. Jessie Wilbert, and Eugene Parham, and husband, Fred Chandler. 

She leaves to mourn, seven children, Betty Neal, (Donald, deceased), Juanita Bowens (Eddie), Edward Parham, Theortres Parham (Effie), Gladious Miles (Curtis, deceased), Nola Smith (Major), and Mildred Harrison; and a sister, Lois Tyms of Chicago, Illinois; 34 grandchildren; 60 great -grandchildren; and host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends who loved her dearly.


Visitation will be Friday, Nov.17, 2017, from 5to7 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church on County Road 262, Lexa. Funeral services will  be at the church at 11 a.m.,  Saturday, Nov. 18. The Eulogist will be The Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Hull, Sr.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
