Bonnie S. Capes passed away in London, England, Nov. 8, 2017.

She was born in Helena-West Helena on April 8, 1947.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Dr. Bernard and Josephine Brick Capes; beloved former spouse of Anthony (Tony) Tabatznik, wonderful and beloved mother to Risa, Lara, and Seth Tabatznik; beloved sister of David Capes (Judy); and beloved cousin, aunt, great-aunt, in-law and special person within the Tabatznik, Capes, Brick, and Lorenz families.

She was a member of the graduating class of 1965 of Central High School and a 1969 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She was a lifelong student of learning and languages and traveled extensively with her family and friends. 

She was a volunteer teacher throughout her later years to children with learning disabilities. She was an avid and enthusiastic supporter of all the arts, in particular theatre and music. 

A memorial service will be held in London, England on Nov. 19.
