Then, the Malco Theater might just the place you want to be this Saturday evening (Oct. 7) beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing until 10 p.m. Because, that's where the Gospel Stage of the King Biscuit Blues Festival will be situated this year.

Then, the Malco Theater might just the place you want to be this Saturday evening (Oct. 7) beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing until 10 p.m. Because, that's where the Gospel Stage of the King Biscuit Blues Festival will be situated this year.

Nine local and area performers are on the lineup card beginning with Chris K. of Pine Bluff, who kicks off the set at 4 p.m. He will be followed by the Phillips County Community Choir from 4:40 until 5:05. Keeping the stage warm will the Ready Boyz of Helena from 5:15 to 5:35.

Other acts include the New Life Singers of Lexa from 5:45 to 6:05; the Dixie Wonders of Helena-West Helena from 6:15 to 6:35; Angelic Voices of Clarksdale, Mississippi from 6:45 to 7:15; and the Spiritual Keys of Forrest City from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

The featured acts of the night are God's Children of Memphis, Tennessee from 8:15 until 9 p.m. and Bob Holloway and The Southern Sons, also out of Memphis, beginning at 9:10 and continuing until 10 p.m.
