Funeral services for Gregory White will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 26, at Hew Haven M.B. Church with Rev. Rodney Corbin officiating.

Visitation will be held from noon to 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25 in the Stephens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery

Gregory White was born Sept. 6, 1973 to Gracie White and Willie Brown

He was raised in Helena-West Helena and he professed a hope in Christ at an early age at the Greater First Baptist Church.

Greg attended Central High School where he graduated in the class of 1994. He was a caring human being who wanted to help everyone he came in contact with. He especially liked helping young people by telling them to stay in school and that the streets had nothing to offer them.

Greg was employed by KFC. He enjoyed his job very much because he was able to serve the public.

He departed this life on Aug.17, 2017 at Helena Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lina White and Samuel White.

Greg loved his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Eunita Banks White of Helena-West Helena; his daughter, Nikyhia Oneal White, Brittany Banks , Keyunna Banks, and Eukevia Banks, all of Helena-West Helena; his mother, Gracie White (Charles Whitfield) of Helena-West Helena; a step-goddaughter, Kayln Carter of Helena-West Helena; a special aunt/ his second mother, Linda White (Andre) Morris of Helena-West Helena; two uncles, James White of Helena-West Helena, and Jimmy White of Detroit, Michigan; two brothers, Rickey Murphy and Andre Crawford; an aunt, Louise Watson of Helena-West Helena; three cousins, Patrick (Jacqueline) White, Joyce Brison and Crystal Brison; his sisters- in-law, Brenda and Linda Wallace; a niece, Traylonda Wallace, all of Helena-West Helena; two god-sistersss, Jakia Burks and Kayln Carter and his shadow Brandon Wallace; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousin and friends who will miss him dearly.
