HELENA-WEST HELENA -

The Helena-West Helena Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division is investigating four residential burglaries that occurred over the weekend.
The first break-in took place Saturday in the 700 block of College Street when thieves broke into a home and stole a small safe.
Also broken into Saturday afternoon and late Saturday night were houses in the 1100 and 1200 blocks of Cherry Street. TVs were stolen in both break-ins.
Monday morning detectives investigated a break-in in the 200 block of Beech Street and learned that a TV also was stolen from this residence. The thieves heavily damaged the residence breaking in the front door to gain entry.
Criminal mischief was reported at the Kids for the Future Building at 515 McDonough Street in Helena. Sometime during the weekend someone broke windows out of several vehicles parked on the parking lot and also broke a glass out of one of the building's doors.
