"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." — John 8:32
Truth aces every situation, every time! When Christ said, “I am the truth,” he stated the truth of God for the world. Christ did not die for the world; he died for each of us, to set us free from sin and guilt, which are the prisons of our own making. Knowing Jesus Christ as the son of God, who was made flesh like us to dwell among us, is to know that no matter what the situation, circumstance or question … he is the answer. But none of us can know his answer to our dilemma unless we know him and how to hear his voice in our mind and heart.
If you know that Jesus is the truth, then it becomes a matter of turning to him, in our minds, and allowing his truth to fill our mind with the thoughts of what to do, where to go or what to say. It is a simple concept, based on a simple truth; Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. When we can give up our own fears, battles and frustrations and believe that all we know of Jesus is the answer for our dilemma, then the crises is over and truth overcomes the fear to give us peace.
