Christ for the World plans event
Christ for the World Church will host its “Increase 2018 The Greater Is Here” event Wednesday through April 15 at the church, 4401 Windsor Drive. Speakers will include Dr. Aretha Wilson, Prophetess Teresa Hogan, Evangelist Don Nelson, Prophet Bobby Hogan and Prophet Bennie Baker.

Faith-based planning for emergencies
The Faith Base Action: Preparing and Responding to Community Disasters and Crises event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 19 at Central Christian Church, 400 N. Waldron Road. The free event will discuss the numerous natural disasters and community crises. The event also will provide information to assist church leaders in preparing and leading congregations during difficult times. Lunch will be provided.

Mercy River Boys to perform
The Mercy River Boys, a southern gospel quartet from Jacksonville, will be in concert at 6 p.m. April 22nd at Faith Baptist Church, 14511 Old Jenny Lind Loop in the community of Jenny Lind. The quartet has been singing together for more than 16 years.
