Grocery giveaway happening Sunday

Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 1110 S. 12th St., will host its 26th annual grocery giveaway beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday at the church. Four hundred sacks of groceries will be given away to anyone in need. There will be no paperwork, income requirements or identification. The event is made possible by donations from local businesses and Evangel temple members.

Grace Lutheran Church will hold Lenten services Wednesday with a light supper at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall followed by the worship service at 7 p.m. at the church, 18218 U.S. 71 South in Greenwood.

Amazing Prophecies seminar slated

A free Amazing Prophecies seminar will be held at 7 p.m. Friday through March 31 in the gymnasium building at the Seventh-day Adventist School, 2000 Louisville St. in Fort Smith. Jason Morgan will be the speaker, and he will offer an understanding of the Book of Revelation including topics such as On the Eve of Armageddon; Blood on the Throne; Revelation's Mother of All Battles; The Ancient of Days and the Time of the End; The Antichrist Revealed; A Thief in the Night; The Beast, Dragon and Woman Revealed; and more.

Join Christian book club
