William Grady Richmond Jr., 83, of Centreville, Miss. passed away Thursday March 20, 2014 in Southaven, Miss.
William Grady Richmond Jr., 83, of Centreville, Miss. passed away Thursday March 20, 2014 in Southaven, Miss. He was born Sept. 13, 1930 to the late William Grady Richmond, Sr. and Lois McCoy Richmond in Helena.
Grady leaves a daughter, Alex Richmond of Centreville; five sons, Grady Kyle and Will Richmond of Centerville, James Alan Richmond (Kelly) of Liberty, Miss. Robert William Richmond of St. Francisville, La., Larry Charles Richmond of Denham Springs, La.; two brothers of Arkansas and one brother of Mississippi; three sisters of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Christina, Brittany, David, A. J. Randy and Charley, and two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Lane.
His parents and his wife, Geneva L. Richmond, preceded him in death
Grady worked for the National Guard as a young man, he was a Farmer most of his life and retired from Wacknhut Security at River Bend Nuclear Plant in St. Francisville, La.
He enjoyed going to church, gardening, working in the yard, visiting friends and spending time with his family.
Services will be noon Tuesday, March 25 in the Roller-Citizens Chapel with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 24 also at the chapel.
