Helen Melissa Steward Eubanks, 83, of Bono, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at her daughter’s home. She was born Sept. 26, 1930 in Holly Grove to the late John and Ruth Simons Manning. Helen was a truck dispatcher and of the Baptist belief. She loved to fish and drink beer.
Her parents, her husband, Charles Eubanks, a son, Phillip Steward and two sisters, Maxine Bernard and Lorene Hare, preceded Helen in death.
Survivors include three sons, Albert (Frances) Steward Jr., of Andrews, Texas, Chuck Eubanks and Anthony Eubanks, both of Little Rock; a daughter, Judy Tate of Bono; four grandchildren, Melissa (Jeremy) Donnelly, Amanda (Jackie) Coffman, Laura (Terry) Sullivan and Shawn Smith; four great- grandchildren, Zach Jones, Katie Donnelly, Deidre (Alex) Lowery and Trey Sullivan; two great-great grandchildren, Sharayah Smith and Bryant Smith; and a brother, Roy (Roxanne) Manning of Helena-West Helena.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Helena-West Helena with John Freeman officiating.
No visitation is planned.
