Ronald Dennis "Ronnie" Blue Sr. was born September 7, 1963 to Willie Blue, Sr. and Alma Allen Blue. Ronnie professed his hope in Christ at an early age at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Later in life, he became a member of Second Baptist Church until the Lord called him home. Ronnie attended Central High School. After high school, Ronnie became employed by Helena Chemical Co. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Alma Blue, an aunt, Thelma Taylor, an uncle, Edward Allen and a niece, Lena Calvin. His memory will be cherished by his children, Rokeshia Blue, Ronald Blue Jr., Latoyia Davidson, Vanessa Lewis, Tajeema Robinson, LaQuita Robinson, Kenya Robinson; his sisters, Annie Flowers and Annie (Calvin) Blue; his brothers, Willie Blue Jr. and Maurice Blue; a special aunt, Carolyn Britton; a great aunt, LeaGertha Womack; an uncle, Daniel Swopes; a great uncle, Earnest Womack Sr.; his special nieces, Latonia Lee and Rhonda Banks; a very special great-great niece, Kavia Banks; his very special friends, Tracy Partee, Jenny Jackson, Keisha Hunt, Ann Holden, Amanda Ross and Edmond Reese; five nephews; seven great nephews; a niece and five great-nieces; a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Funeral services for Ronnie Blue will be held 2 p.m. in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel. Rev. Earnest Womack Jr. will officiate. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18i n the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Cemetery.
