Main Street Marvell Festival will begin Friday night, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. and will continue through Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Marvell. This year the format has changed for the purposes of promoting two days of music and fun during the Main Street Marvell Festival. Friday night, the Y'allternative from Memphis will be starting up the festival with great music from 7 to 11 p.m. along with a barbeque cook off to further your enjoyment of the evening. On Saturday, music will start at 10 a.m. with singing groups including the Gospel Express (10 -10:30 a.m.), Community Choir (10:45 to 11a.m.), Young n' Ready (11:15 to 11:45 a.m.), Gospel Souls (Noon -12:45 p.m.), Dedication (1-1:45 p.m.), Kortni Washburn (2:00-2:20 p.m.), Billy Adams & The Blazers (2:30-3:15 p.m.), Marcus Cartwright (3:25-4 p.m.), and concluding with Lil Cre (4 - 4:30). There will also be a silent auction, craft booths, baked items, and local food vendors to enjoy during the festival, plus pony rides, train rides and a slide for the kids to delight in throughout the event.
