Funeral services for the Bobby Glen Key will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the PLM&D Center. Public viewing will be noon to 4 p.m. and family hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday Oct. 4 in the at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will be held in Morning Star Cemetery in Elaine. Bobby Glen Key entered this world seven minutes after his twin sister (Barbara) to Lorine and Daniel Key on July 30, 1970. Bobby grew up in Lambrook. He enlisted in the National Guard after his junior year. He graduated from Elaine High School. Bobby was an exceptionally nurturing family man and father. He enjoyed immensely spending time with his children and family members often referred to as “Uncle Bobby” by his younger cousins. Being a supportive, caring father meant the world to Bobby. He was always encouraging his children and other family members to do their best and to “use common sense.” He was passionate about helping his children to understand and to be prepared for life's challenges in which he modeled in his daily interactions with them. Bobby left his burdens behind when he departed this life on Sept. 27, 2013 at the Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb. Bobby's memory will be cherished by his mother, Lorine Key of Helena-West Helena; his father, Daniel Key of Lambrook; 4 children, Kiara and Kade Bowling of Lincoln, Neb., Jada and Taylen Key of Omaha, Neb.; 3 sisters, Barbara Donner of Helena-West Helena, Deabieyun Key of Helena-West Helena and Patricia Key of Jonesboro; 2 brothers, Toney (Kristina) Key of Omaha, Jerry (Patricia) House of North Little Rock; his grandmother, Lizzie B. Gordon of Helena-West Helena, a special friend, Robin Cronin of Lincoln; 6 aunts, 5 uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and a host of friends.
