Ora Louise “Lou” Anderson, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 14, 2013.
Lovingly known as “Mrs. Lou,” she faithfully and graciously served her communities of Helena-West Helena and Olive Branch, Miss., for over 40 years. She was a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch and was formerly a member of West Helena Baptist Church.
A dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, Lou was known for her amazing cooking and generosity to others.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, and will celebrate her life with a service on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m., both at West Helena Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow in Cave City at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Maxwell Cemetery.

Lou leaves her three sons, Mike (Linda) Anderson of Southaven, Miss.; Scott (Jerri) Anderson of Plano, Texas; Kevin Anderson of Madison, Miss. She also leaves her grandchildren, Landon (Christina) Anderson of Southaven, Elizabeth Anderson of Southaven, Andrea Anderson of Little Rock, Leah Kathryn Anderson of Plano, Heath Anderson of Little Rock. Her surviving siblings are Mabel Copeland (Herschel), Pearl River, La., Maudine King of Cave City and Darrell Moody of Grange.
