Four sisters will open this year's Warfield Concert series at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in Helena-West Helena with their eclectic blend of music. Sponsored by H&M Lumber/Ace Hardware, this quartet features Rebecca, Emily, Abigail and Lydia VanderVate, ages 9-14, performing some of their favorite songs using a variety of musical instruments.
The inspiring sounds of these four talented young ladies will amaze and entertain you. This show is recommended for audience members of all ages, so bring the entire family.
While this concert will officially open the Warfield season, it also will coincide with the season finale of Helena's Second Saturdays. The day will begin with a Helena Farmer's Market at 8 a.m., followed by a Cherry Street Shop-Hop beginning at 10 a.m. to find deals at local stores and restaurants. A Downtown Street Fair with a “Tailgaitin'” theme will begin at 5 p.m. in the 400 block of Cherry Street featuring an Arts Market and Kid Arts Zone. A special treat for art lovers will be a Delta Dayz Arts Fair presented by the Arkansas Delta Arts Partnership.
