James Edward Burton Jr., 44, of Sidney died Sept. 7, 2013 in Mountain View.
The son of James Edward Burton Sr. and Georgia Carolyn Childers Burton, he was a 1988 graduate of West Helena Christian Academy. He was parts manager at Mark Martin Chevrolet in Melbourne.
He leaves his wife, Misty, of the home; a son, Parker Glenn of the home; a brother, Craig Burton (Wendy) of Jonesboro; his parents; two sisters, Julie Grantham (Matt) of Famerville, La. and Crystal Tackett of Fort Smith; eight nieces; two nephews and host of other relatives and many good friends.
His paternal grandparents, Williams Claude and Hazel Holland Burton and his maternal grandparents, George Clifford and Elsie Lynch Childers, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Howard Memorial Funeral chapel in Melbourne with David Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Melbourne under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers are Mike Foshee, Daryl Kinney, Jon Roberson, Justin West, Andre Beale and Anthony Howard. Honorary pallbearers are Craig Burton, Warren Smith and Chris McCrary.
