  • Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) recently appointed two new CASA volunteers during a special swearing in ceremony last week. CASA welcomed new volunteers Denise Richards and Kimber Eshleman (pictured) to their team of advocates and are excited that these two empowering individuals are seeking out the rights and needs for Abused and Neglected Children. CASA of Phillips County was started November 2008. CASA's advocates strive for what is in the best interest of children who have come to the attention of Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Juvenile Court as a result of abuse, abandonment or neglect.
