Need vital information about county government and services? You need look no further than Phillips County's new official website at http://phillipscounty.arkansas.gov/. The new website is a joint effort of Connect Arkansas e-Community Strategies program and the Information Network of Arkansas. The website will serve as a central location for users to easily trace specific county and city information. Designed with easy navigation in mind, its purpose is to help make county government more accessible to the public. This marks the first time that the county has had its own official website. “We're excited to release a user-friendly website to present information regarding our county to the public,” stated Phillips County Treasurer Becky Gattas. “The website is the result of a lot of hard work on the part of community volunteer Elaine Canady, Julia Malinowski of the Helena advertising and Promotion Commission and myself on behalf of the county.” The launch of the county's website was coordinated with the start up of Helena's new tourism website that can be found at www.VisitHelenaAR.com. “With the launch of these two sites, we have established a strong online presence for our community,” said Malinowski.
