Michael Duane Black, 45, of Lexa, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 in St. Louis, Mo. Mr. Black was born June 17, 1968 in Helena. He was a truck driver and a member of the Lexa Baptist Church.
Mr. Black leaves his wife, Margaret Black of Lexa; a son, Ben Brinkley of Lexa; a daughter, Ashley Brinkley of Lexa; a grandchild, Kinlee Gilchrist of Lexa; his mother, Bessie Wooten of Lexa; his father, Carl Black of North Little Rock; a sister, Pamela Johnston of Helena-West Helena; three nieces, Beth, Stacey and Lindsey; and two great-nieces, Timberly and Amberly.
A brother, Timothy Carl Black, preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Michael Duane Black will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Lexa.
Pallbearers are Ricky Mallard, Gary Bradshaw, Doug Mallard, Terry Mallard, Jason Slane and Brice Slane.
Honorary pallbearers are Ernie Mallard, Blake Wood, Seth Wood, Tommy Young and Danny Young.
