Arkansas has been selected to open with California as part of the eight-team Maui Invitational. The Razorbacks will face the Golden Bears on Nov. 25, marking just the second time the school schools have played. The three-day tournament will also feature Baylor, Dayton, Gonzaga, Minnesota, Syracuse and host Chaminade. Arkansas is making its third trip to the Maui Invitational, having finished as runner-up in 1991 and in sixth place in 2005. The only other meeting between the Razorbacks and California was also in Hawaii, with the Razorbacks defeating the Golden Bears 74-58 in the 1986 Rainbow Classic. California is coming off its fourth NCAA tournament appearance in the last five seasons, while Arkansas was 19-13 last season and missed the NCAA tournament for the fifth straight season.
