Angela Shirey of Helena and Eric Hutchinson of Conway have been elected as members of the state board of directors for Arkansas Community Foundation.
“Arkansas Community Foundation partners with local people to promote smart charitable giving that improves our communities,” said Heather Larkin, ARCF President and CEO. “Selecting a diverse, statewide board is essential to our work, and we're honored to welcome these leaders who will provide strategic direction and financial accountability for our organization in the coming years.”
Shirey is a loan specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and has previously served as an instructor at Phillips Community College and a commercial loan officer and community development officer at Southern Financial Partners. She holds a master's of business administration from Arkansas State University and a bachelor's degree from Tennessee State University. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Helena Health Foundation and has previously served on the advisory board of the Delta Cultural Center and the board of the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund.
