  • Eighteen year old Kevin Maxey and Ebony Warren recently celebrated their graduation from Central High School with 4-H and the Helena World as they expressed their experience and future ambitions. Maxey is the son of Angela and Kevin Maxey Sr. of West Helena and has just recently joined 4-H Club where he has been able to show his leadership skills and his skill-full talent in performing arts. Maxey hopes that the future will provide more opportunities to further his involvement within the community and help him teach other kids about leadership skills, how to show their talents in performing art and teach them how to go forth with their talents and dreams. Warren is the daughter of Valerie and Darius Holmes and Kevin Warren Jr. As part of the team leaders club, she has found her 2-year experience with 4-H has been an enjoyable opportunity where she could express herself while learning the value of leadership and friendship. “I hope to be able to continue to bring new members and help do seminars on things that I have done such as Food Fair and interior design,” comments Warren. Warren will be attending is Arkansas State University and she will be majoring in biology with future plans to continue her education at UAMS to become an OBGYN.
