Celia St. Columbia is the new Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Program director at Helena Regional Medical Center.
Celia has been the speech pathologist at HRMC since 1994. She is a University of Mississippi honors graduate that holds a Masters of Science in Speech Pathology. St Columbia has a specialty in Dysphagia Management, certified in Vital Stim Therapy.
Mechell Laureles, social worker for the AIR accepted the position as assistant program director/social worker. Mechell has been an employee within HRMC for 22 years.

HRMC's Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit has a goal-oriented philosophy of treatment built upon dedication, custom-designed treatment plans for every patient, working with family and patient to help build a bridge from hospital to home and evaluations for community re-entry. The outpatient unit is focused on the continuous improvement of patients and increasing their independence through visits to our outpatient unit. The inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation units provide occupational and speech therapy and work very closely together to evaluate and develop an individualized plan that addresses the patient's specific needs and goals.
