Delbert Flowers, 69, of Helena, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Memphis, Tenn. Mr. Flowers was born Aug. 4, 1943 at Moro to the late Homer Flowers and the late Ellen Hill Flowers. He was a member of Twin City Church of Christ and worked as a production manager for Hoffinger for 50 years.
He leaves his wife, Melody Norris Flowers; two sons, Earl Moreland (Annette) of Wynne and Breck Flowers (Dannielle) of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Yolanda Wells of Michigan City, Ind. and Stacy McCoy of LaFayette, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Debbie Schall (Len) of Benton; a brother, Harold Flowers (Hazel) of Augusta; two sisters-in-law, Joann Flowers and Pauletta Flowers; and a brother-in-law, Billy Cupp.
His parents, a daughter, Mindy McCoy, a sister, Doris “Cookie” Cupp and three brothers, Bob Flowers, Lester Flowers and Billy Ray Flowers, preceded him in death.
Services for Delbert Flowers will be 2 p.m., Saturday, June 8 at the Twin City Church of Christ. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Moro.
Pallbearers are Landon Flowers, Doug Hollowell, Randy Howard, David Bartlett, Danny Cargile, Larry Denson, Labon Davenport and Steve Kendrioski.
