Funeral services for Elmer "Rit" Eristia Frazier Sr. of Lake View will be held 11 a.m. at the PLM&D District Center 157 Highway 20 Helena, Saturday, May 18. Rev. Dr. George Andrew Gibson will officiate. Friends can visit from noon to 3:30 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Friday, May 17. Family hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Internment will be held in Sunset Memorial Park at Barton. Elmer "Rit Eristia Frazier Sr. passed away, Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Helena Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. He was born July 21, 1937 in Dermott to the late Leon and Alberta Hall Frazier. On April 19, 1957, he married the former Genora Gladney. "Rit" is what he was called by everyone. He was employed as a mechanic with Lake View Schools for several years. He also was employed as a mechanic with Interstate Brands Corp. for 31 years before retiring. Rit enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on any vehicle. He even tried farming. Elmer leaves to cherish his memory, his faithful wife, Genora Frazier of Lake View; nine children, four sons and five daughters, Debra (Oscar) Richardson SR. of Lake View, Kenneth Frazier of Lake View, Bruce Frazier of Hollywood, Fla.; Kelvin (Jackie) Frazier of Cedar Hill, Texas, Elmer Frazier Jr. of Lake View, Cheryl (John) Grannan of Memphis, Tenn., Lisa Brooks of Southaven, Miss. Kimberly Frazier of Tunica, Miss. and Tomeka (Pervis) Waston of Helena-West Helena; four brothers and four sisters, Leon (Pearl) Frazier Jr. of West Hollywood, Fla.; Vera (Walter) Gray of Chicago, Ill.; Harold Frazier Sr., of North Little Rock, Bennie (Elizabeth) Frazier Sr. of Park Pines, Fla., Willow Roy Frazier of Chicago, Doris Lovely of Baton Rouge, La., Carolyn (Reid) Sutton of Paris, Ill., Annette (Rosevel) Grace of Seattle, Wash.; 18 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
