Lucrises Robinson, 66, of Helena-West Helena, passed on May 2, 2013 at her home in Helena-West Helena. Lucrises Robinson, affectionately known as " Geraldine", was born Dec. 27, 1947 to I.C. Robinson and Alberta Robinson in Helena. Lucrises accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age at Morning Star M.B. Church. She later joined King Solomon M.B. Church where she was a member of the choir. Lucrises worked various jobs including the Helena Chemical Co. and brick cleaning. She had many hobbies including, brick cleaning, bingo and gardening. Lucrises is preceded in death by her parents, I.C. Robinson and Alberta Robinson, two aunts, Willie Mae Davis and Annie Hadley, an uncle, Willie Davis, a niece, Rosie Lee Porter and a nephew, Willie Davis. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Eddie (Shun) Gray of Omaha, Neb, Richard Foots, of Osceola, Freeman Lee of Helena and Michael Murphy of Helena; two daughters, Mary (Samuel) Murphy, of Helena and Linda Bryant, of Helena-West Helena; grandchildren, Anastasia Murphy, Denise Ruffin, Shanisha Murphy, Sharcrises, Tiffany Gray, Michael Murphy, Michelle Murphy, Lucrises Lee and Davante Lee; great-grandchildren, Jakobi Hawkins, Ricco Kones, Elijal Murphy, Ja'mori Rayford; a sister, Elsie Brown, of Helena-West Helena; a special friend, Hillary "Mack" McDowell, of Helena; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11 in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel. Rev. Cedric D. Pride will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 10 in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Oakgrove No. 3 Cemetery.
