Michael T. Brandon-Muhammad, 49, of North Little Rock and formerly of Helena-West Helena, passed away April 16, 2013 in Little Rock.
He was born Jan. 17, 1964 to Bettye Thompson and Brady Brandon in Marvell. He received Christ and was baptized at an early age. Michael grew up and attended school in the Lexa, Helena-West Helena community. He married Barbara Olloway and to this union a daughter was born.
Later in life he converted to Islam. Michael was a loving son and brother. He loved reading. He will be missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Bettye Thompson of Helena-West Helena; two daughters, Brittney Brandon of St. Louis, Taneshia Lee of Milwaukee, Wis., a granddaughter, Chloe of St. Louis; brothers, Tommy Thompson, Melvin Thompson of Helena-West Helena, James Thompson of Aurora, Ill.; sisters, Beverly Turner, Marilyn Thompson of Aurora, Ill., Alylica Thompson of Hanover Park, Ill., Constance Matthew of Little Rock; uncles Tonie (Cammie) Barnes of Helena-West Helena, Roy Barnes of Pine Bluff, Sammie (Rosie) Spencer of Hooks, Tenn.; aunts Mary Douglas of Duluth, Ga., Mattie Joe Cleveland of Lexa; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, April 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kincaid Funeral Services. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27 in Kincaid Funeral Services Auditorium.
