In a workplace setting, communication is used by everyone at all times and is one of the most important keys to a successful workplace. Recognizing the importance of being able to communicate more effectively with people at work, Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) will host a four-evening spring workshop.
Good business requires good communication among employees and between employees and patrons. Workplace Communication will explore interpersonal communication and cover topics dealing with how to enhance communication skills in the workplace. The workshops will focus on key aspects like listening, speaking, reading, and writing and emphasize the importance of these four modes of communication in the workplace.
Taught by Brian Brown and Vicki Cobb, the workshops will be held from 6 to 8:50 p.m. April 29, May 1, 6, and 8 in the (PCCUA) Technical & Industrial Building, Room 124. To register, please contact Vicki Cobb at (870) 338-6474, ext. 1121, or Kathy Dulaney at ext. 1338.
