The Career Pathways Initiative at PCCUA-Helena-West Helena has announced its selection of Troy Robinson as the 'Student of the Quarter' for the 2013 spring semester.
Robinson was selected by the criteria set forth by the Career Pathways Program. Such criteria include academic excellence, personality, and being in compliance with all Career Pathways guidelines for the quarter.
A business major, Robinson is the father of four children and has had the tenacity and motivation to balance being a full-time student, along with job responsibilities, while maintaining excellent grades.
Robinson, who will graduate in May with an Associate of Arts degree in business management, enrolled in the Career Pathways program in August of 2011. While working toward his degree, he has earned an Employability Certificate and the Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate.
Career Pathways is designed to improve the earnings and post-secondary education attainment of Arkansas' low-income adults and help them obtain the skills needed to earn a college degree and marketable job skills.
