Details are still sketchy regarding a reported accidental shooting death that occurred Tuesday evening as confirmed by the Phillips County Sheriff's Office.
An 18-year-old Phillips County male has been taken into custody after he allegedly shot 21-year-old Josh Rial of Helena-West Helena.
Sheriff's deputies responded to Horner's Neck, an area along the low roads near Storm Creek after the incident was reported to have occurred around 7p.m. Rial was pronounced dead at the scene by the Phillips County coroner around 8 p.m.
Phillips County Sheriff Neal Byrd reported that Rial's body has been turned over to the crime lab in Little Rock for an autopsy.
The alleged shooter is currently in custody and bond has been set at $75,000 He currently faces manslaughter charges. The PSO's Criminal Investigation Department reports that the investigation is on going.
