  • Police confirms residential shooting

  • Criminal Investigation Dept confirmed that on March 3, the Helena West Helena Police Dept responded to the 200 block of N. 8th for a report of shots fired inside the residence. Witnesses at the scene reported that three black males with guns came into the residence and shots were fired. No one was reported hurt in the shooting. Police reportedly picked up Antonio Walker that evening and he was charged with terroristic act and possession of firearm by certain persons with a bond set at $75,000. A sixteen-year old juvenile was also charged with the incident and was seen in juvenile court where he was reprimanded into custody. Police are looking for the third suspect in the shooting. On March 13th, the body of Billy Joe Clayton was found inside a residence at the 300b lock of Memphis. Coroner Tommy Hunt pronounced Clayton dead at the scene. The suspect Fracey Corbin, was taken into custody at the scene of the crime and was charged with murder in the 2nd degree and possession of firearm by certain person. His bond is set at $55,000.
