  • Virginia Louise Ginn, 68, of Helena-West Helena, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Ginn was born Feb. 3, 1945 at Marianna to the late Richard L. May and the late Myrtie Davis May. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Helena. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Freddie Ginn; a son, Wayne Ginn (Paige) of Lexa; three daughters, Teresa Skinner (James) of Helena-West Helena, Pam Garner (Joe) of Helena-West Helena and Melissa Wood (Chris) of Poplar Grove; 14 grandchildren, Richard Phillips, Chuck Ward (Angela), Mark Phillips (Lindsey), Nick Ginn, Rachel Ginn, Samantha Sanders (Jimmy), Blake Wood, Matt Ginn, Joe Garner (Christina), Tyler Bourland, Ashleigh Stewart, Lawren Guthrie, Brooklyn Bourland and Hannah Wood; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Betty May Pearl Henley (Woodrow) and two brothers, Harvey May and R.L. May. Services for Virginia Ginn will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, March 16 at the First Baptist Church of Helena. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park at Helena-West Helena. Rev. Joe Garner will officiate. Pallbearers are Neal Byrd, Jerry Richardson, Randy Ray Reynolds, Jason Oxner, Tracy Henley and Steve Ginn. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Pat Bell and Ed Pat Wright.
