Area 9 Hospice honors local late veteran

On Jan. 31, the Arkansas Department of Health Area 9 Hospice posthumously honored a dedicated Phillips County soldier with a special certificate in recognition of his military service to America.
Jesse Young served 18 years in the U.S. Army from 1968, when he graduated from high school until March 1986. He achieved the rank of E5 and earned a Certificate of Training as a vehicle mechanic at Fort Dix, N.J.
