  • Arkansas lawmakers back extra money for court aides

  • A legislative panel endorsed transferring $150,000 from other parts of the budget on Tuesday to pay 122 trial court assistants for the next two months as lawmakers try to find a permanent solution to shortfalls in the fund that pays their salaries.
