  • Carl Horton, vice president of Member Services for Woodruff Electric, speaks to Phillips College students regarding the creation of electric power in Arkansas. He gave up-to-date information regarding solar and wind power to the Advanced Manufacturing classes in the Career & Technical Center at PCC. Horton also spoke on modern power plants and the efficiency of nuclear, natural gas and coal power plants today. The C&TC students are from area high schools including Central, Barton, Marvell and DeSoto. They receive college and high school credits, simultaneously.
