PCC students hear career options

Carl Horton, vice president of Member Services for Woodruff Electric, speaks to Phillips College students regarding the creation of electric power in Arkansas. He gave up-to-date information regarding solar and wind power to the Advanced Manufacturing classes in the Career & Technical Center at PCC. Horton also spoke on modern power plants and the efficiency of nuclear, natural gas and coal power plants today. The C&TC students are from area high schools including Central, Barton, Marvell and DeSoto. They receive college and high school credits, simultaneously.
